A review of the Volkswagen Beetle The Volkswagen Beetle was officially known as Volkswagen Type 1. It was a car that was inspired by Adolf Hitler, the dictator of Nazi Germany in the 1930s. He proposed the idea of coming up with a fuel-efficient car, and that would also be ideal for two adults and three children. The vehicle was also supposed to be in possession of inexpensive and quick parts to exchange. This is the reason it is an air-cooled car that was easy to run in the bush during World War era.
